Meditation Sessions by Mystical Dragon
Take some well deserved time for yourself in your own home and enjoy a guided meditation lead by Mystical Dragon’s lovely Laura Palermo. These stand-alone sessions are focused around relaxation. Create for yourself a quiet, undisturbed space, perhaps light a candle or incense and you will be ready to join the meditation session. Pillows, blankets, even pyjamas, can be added for your comfort! You will then be ready to enjoy this “YOU time“! This is not a course, there are no special requirements and no session is compulsory!
Regular meditation can help you cope better with the stress of daily life and improve your everyday well being. Be reassured that anyone can meditate and that you don’t need any special abilities to practise meditation. Meditating is not about seeking perfection but developing and calming your mind. This is your opportunity to practise meditation to help you achieve inner calm and tranquillity. Benefits of meditation include; lowers high blood pressure, reduces anxiety, decreases tension related pain and headaches, can help with insomnia, increases serotonin to increase mood, improves the immune system, brings mind into alpha state to promote healing, happiness and creativity, increases intuition, and the list goes on.
FACE TO FACE meditation sessions resume on Wednesday mornings from June 10, 2020 at AEST 10:00 am (UTC 12:00 am). Take advantage of our quiet space, comfy chairs and good company. Our chairs are very comfortable, and even adjustable but presently we must ask you to bring your own pillow or blanket if you’d like them. These sessions are $15 per head and capped at a maximum of 11 participants, so booking your spot in advance is essential.
LIVE ONLINE meditation sessions will continue each Wednesday evening at AEST 7:30 pm (UTC 9:30 am). Create for yourself a quiet, undisturbed space, perhaps light a candle or incense and be ready to join the meditation session. Pillows, blankets, even pyjamas are all optional extras you can add for your comfort! These sessions are $10 per head.
Bookings for the online sessions need to be made no later than AEST 5:00 pm (UTC 7:00 am) on Wednesday for that evening’s session. Emails will be sent out with the link required to join the session after the deadline has passed. We use a program called “Zoom”. Using Zoom doesn’t cost you extra to access a session. At a minimum, you need a computer with a webcam and speakers, or a tablet or smartphone, plus internet access. You can speak or type to chat online at the end and ask questions or share your thoughts to the group if you would like. Students are always welcome to log straight off at the end and don’t even need to enable the video for meditation sessions.

About Laura Palermo
Laura enjoys exploring different aspects of meditation. She understands first-hand the need for perseverance and practice, especially when first starting out. Meditation has helped quiet Laura’s once constantly busy mind find a level of peace she had not known before. Thus, she enjoys finding new and effective methods for relaxation. Utilising her love of words and the cadence of sound, the meditations Laura facilitates are a collaborative effort with her Guides and Angels. Spirit leads the way and she fill in the gaps. As Laura is a natural healer, her meditations tend to take on that aspect as well.
