The aim of Mystical Dragon’s COVID Policy is to alleviate any concerns you may have about attending our premises. Mystical Dragon’s priority has always been and continues to be, the health, safety, and well-being of our people. To support the safety of Mystical Dragon’s community and minimise risk, we have implemented protocols and cleaning guidelines for students and staff when on-premises.
Students and staff are encouraged to maintain physical distancing, good hand hygiene, and to stay at home if unwell to minimise the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
Our COVID Policy in Detail
Cleaning protocols
Mystical Dragon has overall responsibility for cleaning the building and amenities and we maintain a cleaning roster to ensure this is done regularly. Chairs, tools, bathrooms, and high-touch surfaces are cleaned between classes and clients.
Cleaning products are also provided for students and staff so that you are able to ‘clean as you go’ at your discretion. Anti-bacterial wipes and hand sanitiser is available for you to use at your discretion while at Mystical Dragon. Our teachers clean shared items and surfaces before and after practical activities and classes.
Face Masks
While not compulsory, students are welcome to wear a face mask while on premises if they wish.
Physical distancing
Do your best to ensure a distance of at least 1.5 meters is kept between yourself and others when on premises.
A Student that has Covid symptoms or isn’t Feeling Well Prior to an Event
Students are encouraged to stay home if feeling sick, even with milder symptoms like a persistent cough. You need to contact Mystical Dragon prior to your class commencement to let us know you won’t be attending. In this circumstance, you may be eligible for monies to be transferred to future training. This is at the discretion of Mystical Dragon.
A Student that is a Household Contact
Any student that is a close contact of a household member with covid are asked NOT to attend Mystical Dragon for 5 days from the time the household contact tests positive. If they have a negative covid test on day 5 they are welcome to resume classes from day 6. It is recommended the student wear a mask if attending a class just after this time has elapsed.
A Student that Tests Positive to Covid within 3 days of attending an Event at Mystical Dragon
Students should contact Mystical Dragon to let us know if they test positive to covid after being at an event on premises. Mystical Dragon will discreetly contact the teacher and other students who also attended the same event with a courtesy email so that they might watch for covid symptoms.
Minimising The Risks To Our Community
- Practice proper hand hygiene by regularly washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. Alcohol based sanitiser has also been provided at various locations around our premises.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes and put your used tissues in the rubbish bin. If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbows.
