New Home Spell
Best Timing
A New Moon or Full Moon is an ideal time to cast a New Home Spell, however it can be cast any time you need it
Required Items
- A brown wish candle
- Pen and Paper
- A kebab stick or other means to carve on your candle
- An image or statue of Goddess Hestia or Vesta (optional)
Steps to Cast Your New Home Spell
The first thing I do when looking to manifest a new home (whether to buy or rent doesn’t matter) is to write a dot point list of all the aspects of the home that I am looking for. Be as thorough as you can, especially about things that are important to you in the home. How many bedrooms? How many bathrooms? Do you want gas cooking or electric cooking? A house or unit? A backyard? Etc.
The Goddesses Hestia or Vesta are strongly connected with house and home, plus protection of the family. So this is who we will call on to help.
When you are ready take your candle, brown is for stability and durability, but you could use white as a substitute or green for the finance and manifesting aspect instead. Carve the words ‘new house’ or ‘new home’ down the side of the candle. Then between two hands charge your candle up with your intent. See yourself in this beautiful new home, enjoying all the aspects you have written down in your dot point list. Feel what it’s like living in this beautiful home. Affirm, the perfect house is coming now.
Centre yourself, and when you feel ready, light your candle. And say:
Dearest Goddess Hestia (or Vesta), Goddess of the home and hearth-fire,
Hear my request this day,
A perfect house to rest and play,
where my heart is at home,
This now coming my way.
My own home to live, to love and to grow,
this is my will, now please make it so!
With harm to none, so mote it be. Blessed be.
Read through your list, either out loud or in your head, reaffirming all that you are looking for in your new home. You could add to your list at this time if you need, or even write the list while the candle is burning down if you prefer. Place your list under the candle as it burns all the way down.
Once your candle has burned out completely, you can move your list into your book of shadows or journal, or you could even keep it on your altar if you preferred. You can re-read your list every so often, speaking to Goddess Hestia about your request. Try not to obsess too much about your spell. Try to let the energy go so that it can work for you, and then follow your intuition as to where you need to be looking for your home and what opportunities to follow through with.
