An Evening of Mystery, Intrigue and Psychic Exploration

Deep in a valley, covered by thick Australian bush, is a historic town that seems frozen in time. It contains a multitude of beautiful old buildings combined with a mysterious, sometimes creepy energy, from times gone by. As night falls, this little village becomes an experience all its own! There will be our guides, our fellow adventurers and, of course, those spirits who call Walhalla HOME! Join us for the Walhalla Paranormal Investigation event presented by Mystical Dragon in association with Walhalla Ghost Tours.
Your Evening’s Itinerary:
- At 6:30 pm we meet at the Witchery Café (98 Main Road, Walhalla) for a delicious, hearty and magickal dinner. Everyone selects, orders, and pays for their own food as your ticket does not include your meal. It only reserves your seat for dinner.
Please Note: The Witchery Café has vegetarian and GF options. - After your meal, the whole group will be instructed on some psychic protection before we begin our ghost investigation.
- Enjoy a guided tour of this wonderful, spooky and mysterious old town. We expect this to take approximately 2 to 3 hours. We begin at the Corner Store, then visit the cemetery, mine, saw mill, school, and more. Along the way, you will hear some of the town’s history, filled with intriguing and tragic stories.
- At each site you will have plenty of time to intuitively tune in, use your ghost equipment, take photos and ask questions of your fabulously knowledgeable tour guide.
- The evening concludes with some energy clearing to make sure no one takes home any ghostly friends.

About Walhalla
Walhalla is a town in Victoria, Australia, founded as a gold-mining community in late 1862. Originally called Stringers Creek, at its peak this historic town was home to around 4,000 residents. This gorgeous pocket-sized village holds a depth of stories and secrets from its rich history.
When the gold fields of Ballarat, Bendigo and Castlemaine had already made their fortunes, this prompted gold miners to explore further afield. A group of prospectors, including former convict Ned Stringer, found signs of gold at the fork of the creek that flowed into the Thomson River.
Stringer registered the claim in his name, but sadly died of tuberculosis later that year. The creek became known as Stringers Creek in his memory.
Despite the town’s remote location, word of the goldfield spread, attracting many prospectors. By the mid 1860s it was a flourishing town which had become known as Walhalla.
Why Not Make it a Weekend Away?
Although not compulsory, you may like to take the opportunity to get some accommodation in the area and wander Walhalla during daylight to further soak up its energies.
Daytime visits allow you to take a stroll among the lovingly restored heritage buildings, visit the
museum, take a ride on the Walhalla Goldfields railway, explore some of the local shops, grab a
coffee or a meal.
