In this transformative workshop, you will awaken your heart, mind, and body to the universal life-force energy known as Reiki. Through attunements, guided meditations, and hands-on practise, you’ll learn how to become a clear and compassionate channel of healing energy, both for yourself and for others.

By the end of this workshop, you will be initiated into Reiki healing and confident in offering Reiki to yourself, loved ones, and even pets. This is a deeply heart-focused teaching pathway, gentle, meaningful, and anchored in integrity.

Learn how Reiki works, how to direct energy, and how to offer healing for physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Even at Level 1, Reiki can support: stress and emotional overwhelm, physical discomfort and tension, exhaustion and burnout, anxiety, sadness, or heaviness, personal clarity, grounding, and inner peace.

Allow Reiki to soften your edges, awaken your intuition, and remind you that you are never alone on your healing journey. The energy flows through you, not from you, allowing you to be a simple yet radiant channel of universal compassion.

Reiki Lineage

A Reiki lineage is the line of teaching that your teacher has been trained in, similar to a family tree. A teacher’s lineage reflects the information that the teacher will be passing on to the student. In this Reiki workshop, you will study and receive certificates in TWO Reiki traditions – Usui Reiki and Reiki Seichim.

Students receive TWO Reiki Level 1 certificates upon completion (one for each lineage).

Usui Reiki

A traditional Japanese healing system founded by Mikao Usui in the early 1900s. Rooted in mindfulness, compassion, and the five Reiki principles, Usui Reiki emphasises personal growth as much as hands-on healing. Its gentle, non-invasive nature makes it suitable for anyone, and it nurtures a deep sense of peace, connection, and wellbeing. Through attunements and practice, students learn to trust their intuition, open their hearts, and align with the universal energy that is always available to support wholeness.

Reiki Seichim

Reiki Seichim emerged as a healing system in the early 1980s when Reiki Master Patrick Zeigler, became disgruntled with the politics within Reiki. He tried to unify Reiki teachers, and when that didn’t work, he meditated on it. The Bodhisattva Quan Yin appeared to Patrick and gave him more information and the name ‘Seichim’. Seichim is the Sanskrit equivalent of the Egyptian word ‘Sekhem’ which means ‘power’ or ‘mastery’ over something, or ‘sacred might’.

An Egyptian-inspired Reiki healing system working with a refined, feminine, and transformational spiritual energy. While Reiki channels universal life force, Seichim also attunes practitioners to the living light of the Divine Mother.

Amanda

Amanda is a heart-led spiritual teacher, healer, and guide who has dedicated more than two decades to helping others awaken their gifts, heal deeply, and reconnect with their soul’s wisdom. She founded Mystical Dragon in 2005, and since then has become a trusted and beloved presence in the Australian spiritual community.

Amanda’s teaching style blends grounded practicality with gentle mystical insight. Students know her for her warmth, her compassion, her generosity of spirit, and her unwavering integrity in holding sacred space for transformation. Whether teaching beginners or mentoring advanced students, she brings clarity, humour, and a beautiful sense of calm to every class.

A healer for over 20 years, Amanda has shared her wisdom through private sessions, courses and her writing. Through Mystical Dragon she offers a nurturing, magickal space where others can explore intuitive growth, healing and spiritual connection, as well as find a place to belong.
