Reiki Lineage

A Reiki lineage is the line of teaching that your teacher has been trained in, similar to a family tree. A teacher’s lineage reflects the information that the teacher will be passing on to the student. Therefore, different lineages will have different techniques, philosophies and understanding of working with the system of Reiki. In this Reiki Workshop, you will study and receive certificates in TWO Reiki traditions – Usui Reiki and Reiki Seichim.

Usui Reiki or Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki

Reiki is a gift from the universe. Throughout the tapestry of time, this magical healing art has been available to those who can tap into the source of this energy. Unfortunately, humanity over time had lost or forgotten this loving energy. However, the “key” to these energies was discovered by a Japanese monk named Dr Mikao Usui and has now been passed down the lineage, usually being referred to as “Usui Reiki” or “Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki”. Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki is a traditional system of Reiki.

Seichim or Seichem Reiki

Seichim comes from the Egyptian word “Sekhem” (also known as SKHM, Seichim, and Seichem). Reiki Master Patrick Zeigler discovered Reiki Seichim. Patrick had a vision of a divine energy thought to be Quan Yin. Quan Yin gave Patrick additional symbols. Seichim is channelled Living Light Energy from Source. The symbols for this powerful energy are actually found carved/etched on the sides of the Great Egyptian pyramids and also within some of the tombs. There are many references made to SEKHEM in numerous scrolls found in the pyramids and ancient ruins of the temples. Reiki Seichim actually combines the traditions of Usui Reiki and Seichim, but is considered a non-traditional Reiki.

Seichim brings a more feminine energy while Reiki brings a more masculine energy, but both are energy drawn from the limitless source of the Universe. Reiki and Seichim work together as a unification of sacred healing energies to completely balance and harmonise a person’s physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. This expands the individual’s capacity to carry more light and love and anchors and grounds the essential life force within his or her energy system. Both energies compliment each other and will work concurrently on the client at different levels, helping to address any deep energy blocks. These are released, bringing the opportunity for improved health and higher levels of energy and vitality for the recipient.

I love Reiki, and it is an honour to share it with others. I have found Reiki to be fundamental in my own healing journey and spiritual growth. As such, it is always exciting to see students embrace this energy and love it too.

For a few years now I have been a Reiki Master and first dedicated my time to assist teaching Reiki workshops at Mystical Dragon. Doing so has been integral to ensuring that, as a Reiki teacher, I am upholding the integrity of the art and its lineage. It is my belief that a space must hold the respect and honour for what it shares, just as much as the teacher should.

In addition to teaching Reiki, I also facilitate chakra, crystal, and psychic development workshops. Plus, I also run meditations, group sound immersions and am a regular practitioner at Mystical Dragon.
